A slant-front bread box built from Sapele with a highly figured Birdseye Maple drop-front, solid brass Chippendale hardware, and a full ceramic-coated finish. Built to be used every day and to stay on the counter for decades. The Wood: Case, sides, back and top are Sapele with deep ribbon figure. The drop-front door is a single, highly figured burl slab - book-matched grain that flows across the front. Safe for direct bread contact. Exterior: 3 coats hand-rubbed tung oil to bring out the burl, followed by 2 coats N3 Hard Coat + N3 Top Coat nano-ceramic.
